Happy Halloween Everyone!

Yesterday was the day we’ve all been waiting for filled with costumes, tricks, and most importantly - treats! As spooky season comes to a close many still like to continue the celebration and even plan for the following year. In honor of the holiday weekend, here are a few ways you can incorporate Halloween into your wedding that gives “til death do us part” a whole new meaning:

Festive Drinks - Go for the classic orange color and serve Candy Corn Martinis or a Jack-O-Lantern made with cognac, orange liquor, and orange juice topped with ginger ale. Or go for a more creepy vibe with a red colored signature cocktails or spooky punch in a caldron complete with dry ice for special effect.

Sweet Treats - Have a “trick or treat” candy station, halloween cookies, candy apples, and even a black cake that will leave your guests begging for more

Black Wedding Dress - This is a fun idea for the bride who doesn’t want to wear white and will make a show-stopping first impression! If you decide you still want to go for the traditional wedding gown, have a costume change for the reception for a dramatic, chic look. You can even have your bridesmaids wear black instead!

Tarot Card Readings - Take a look into the future and entertain your guests with a psychic throughout cocktail hour.

Decor - Play around with your color palette. Don’t feel stuck to the classic orange and black, try out variations of red and gold to make it a more subtle theme. You can also choose to base your wedding around your favorite Halloween movie, go in more of a fall direction with pumpkins and leaves, or go a more scary route with some skulls, spider webs, and neon signs.

Attire - Halloween costumes! This is a great way for your guests to get in on the fun and celebrate the holiday along with your wedding.

Dark Flower Arrangements - Dried flowers make a statement along with blue thistle, black roses and seeded eucalyptus. Carry a haunting bouquet down the aisle or scatter them across the venue.

Stationary - Top it all off with a haunting menu, memorable invites, ghostly place cards, and chilling thank-you notes.

Remember to have fun and create the wedding you and your partner want! I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween weekend 🎃
